10-minute headshots, with room to network.Headshots & Handshakes
A monthly fast-track headshot session for corporate and business professionals, priced at £75 for one retouched digital image. The studio doubles as an informal networking space that day, with refreshments available for anyone booked in.
Sessions are every last Wednesday of the month.
Two Reasons to Book
The idea behind Headshots & Handshakes is straightforward: a fast, professional headshot session that also puts you in a room with other business professionals.
Each 10-minute slot includes one retouched image, and with the studio set up for refreshments and conversation throughout the day, it's a natural opportunity to make new connections while you wait or after your shoot.
Afterward, your retouched image is available in an online gallery, alongside any extra shots you'd like to purchase.
What Will the Session Look Like?
1. Park and Arrive
One-hour free parking along Tontine Street is perfect for the 10-minute session or, if you’d like to stay and mingle, Mill Bay and Upper Payers car parks are both only 4-minute walks away.
3. Shoot Your Shot
Turn up camera-ready for your slots, when I’ll take a number of photos of you in a several different poses. Regardless of your experience or confidence in front of a camera, my secret posing tips will have you looking your best.
2. Network
You’re welcome in the studio for as long as you like, so please feel free to come early (don’t miss your slot!) or stick around and chat. The best collaborations happen when they’re least expected; who knows who you’ll meet?
4. Choose and Download your Photo
Shortly after the shoot, I’ll sift all the blinks and awkward shots from your shoot and upload the rest to a gallery for you to choose from. One photo is included in the price, though you’re welcome to buy additional photos, if you’d like.

Nick
“Chris was an absolute delight to work with. He produced an outstanding headshot that I can confidently use across my professional platforms. The studio itself benefits from beautiful natural light, and the final photos were nothing short of breathtaking. I would highly recommend Chris as your go-to professional for headshots and beyond.”
Emmett
“I don’t usually like having my picture taken as it makes me really self-conscious. But Chris managed to create a really natural and relaxed atmosphere (while maintaining professionalism and still giving clear and friendly instructions and explanations throughout the entire process), so I felt completely at ease, and I think the pictures reflect that.”
Alex
“It was my first time having my headshots done. Chris was absolutely great, professional, guiding me through the process and ultimately capturing exactly the kind of high-quality photographs I was looking for. Would definitely recommend!”
Your Questions, Answered

The Headshots and Handshakes package includes one retouched, professional headshot and an informal networking session before and after your session.
One photo is included in the package, and additional photos can be purchased from the online gallery in which your photo is delivered.

As long as you’ve booked a session, you can stay as long as you like! Some of my best business relationships have been fermented whilst networking, and I’d like to do what I can to help others meet like-minded professionals.
That said, there’s no obligation to stay so, if you need head straight off, feel free to do so.

The Headshots and Handshakes sessions are specifically designed for professionals who need one quick, professionally-retouched headshot on a white background. Changing outfits and backgrounds take time and so aren’t suitable for these sessions.
If you’d like to take more time over your photo to get it just right, I completely understand and have just the packages for you.

Due to the short length of these sessions and how booked up the days become, I’m afraid that I can’t accommodate lateness. The whole 10 minutes is yours so, if you’re running 5 minutes late, then do still come and quickly get in front of the camera for your shot. However, if you’re more than 10 minutes late, I’m afraid you’ll have to rebook.
