Exhibition at Jasmin Vardimon’s JV Performance
I'm delighted to announce that I've been invited to exhibit my work by the prestigious Jasmin Vardimon Company!
On 2nd and 3rd of October, and alongside performances of Company's JV2 tour at their Ashford Studio (for which I shot their marketing photography), I'll be exhibiting my dance photography alongside a number of my portraits.
I first worked with the company when I shot the production photography for a JV2 show way back in 2014, and was honoured that my photo was the shot greeting visitors to their pop-up shop at the Ashford Designer Outlet for a number of years. Needless to say, I'm humbled to have been asked back; anyone who knows anything about dance theatre or performance dance will know just how significant a figure Jasmin is in the industry.
Pictured here are some photos I took at an open rehearsal a few months back of the previous JV2 cohort (I can't show you the current cohorts... you'll just have to go and see the show & exhibition!).
Much more important than all this however, is that the production is fantastic! I've been lucky enough to see both the main company production, Lullaby, and the JV production recently and can't recommend them enough. Tickets for Lullaby are sold out, but I think you can still get tickets to the JV2 production, at which you can also see my work.
Thank you so much to Jasmin Vardimon MBE for having me back again and entrusting me with your photos, and all the team at JV Home – it's been a delight and everyone's been wonderful to work with!
